Three Choices

Money. Time. Friends. If you could, would you want more money, time or friends in your life?

Recently I was part of a discussion with that question.  At first blush I would say of course, I could use all three;  more money to help those who need it, more time to do the things that I want and more friends to share in the activities.

But the more I thought about it I realized that I do have all the money, time and friends that I need.  I just haven't spent it well, used what I have been given efficiently or enjoyed the relationships more.  If I am honest I wouldn't do any better with more of it.  In fact I would just abuse any excess.

It made me think that I need to refocus and rethink how I am spending my money, my time and my friendships.  What is really necessary?  Where can I focus my time better?  Am I frittering away the money and hours with senseless items and activities?  Can I use that time and money better with my friends?  Do I take the time to be with my friends?  Do I cultivate relationships?  Do I  share in activities that build up trust and community?

What about you?  Do you need to rethink how you spend your money, time and friends?  Do you have enough of all three or could you use more?  What would you give up in order to have more?

What are your three choices?
